Jasmine Harrison, world record holder, solo sailor, solo rower and swimmer completed a team English Channel Relay on 17-18th July 2026 in honour of ‘Queen of the Waves’ Gertrude Ederle who was the first female solo swimmer of the Channel in 1926.
The international team of Jasmine (UK), Oceans Seven swimmer Nathalie Pohl (Germany), Marianna Dos Santos (Portugal) and Mariam Bin laden (Saudi Arabia) completed the swim in 11hours and 28 minutes swimming from Samphire Hoe, Dover to Cap Gris-Nez, France.
Having departed on Friday 17th July at 13:44 the team made landfall in France in the dark early on Saturday morning. They were awarded medals by the Channel Swimming Association.
